Week 9, Reading Task


By using the feedback I had received from my peers, I took in the advice and feedback and improved my blog by rewriting it.


I found the feedback I got quite useful and insightful. I noticed when I was rewriting my blog, I had found many different ways to improve my writing and the overall quality of my work.

Peer Review #1 Week 5, Reading Task  For this week's reading task, we were asked to review a blog from 2 of our peers. I had received two blogs that I found very well written and it was interesting and insightful to see how they differed from mine and each other.  I learned a lot from reading these blogs by my fellow classmates. I learned that people have very different writing styles even if it is writing on the same topic and I personally found that really engaging.  I also learned that everything can always use some constructive criticism or advice. Peer Review #2 - Week 8

 Peer Review #2 Week 8, Reading Task I had quickly come to a realisation that I thoroughly enjoy reading other people’s blogs. I find myself super engaged and interesting when I am reading them.  I had learned a lot about how people structure their blogs and how different everyone’s writing styles are. It taught me a lot about how I would be able to structure my blogs when in the upcoming future.  I also had learnt that giving feedback and receiving feedback work hand in hand together. While reading the article “The Power of Giving Feedback and Receiving Feedback in Peer Assessment” by Lan Li and Valentina Grion, I had learned a lot of new things and information I had found useful and interesting.  In 2001, Althauser and Darnall conducted an online peer assessment activity. Revising Writing - Week 6

 Revising Writing Week 6, Reading Task I found the feedback I got from my peers quite useful. The feedback they gave me was very helpful. All three Ella, Christelle, and Kate gave me a full breakdown of my blog letting me know what I did well but also what I could improve and add to it.  I enjoyed reading their feedback and getting insight from other people. All the feedback I got was super kind and I will definitely be using their advice in my upcoming blogs.  I learned that I have not been using references in my previous blogs but after the feedback, I was given extremely helpful advice on how to reference since I was struggling on how to reference in my blogs
